Le berte sono pendolari dell'Atlantico che compiono viaggi decennali tra i poli, mentre gli albatri restano filosofi erranti dei mari australi, capaci di volare ore senza battere le ali, in meditazione perpetua tra sforzo e grazia. Sono uccelli che leggevano le correnti e ora devono decifrarle in un ambiente sempre più corrotto dall'intervento umano: plastica negli oceani, pesca industriale, un clima fuori controllo. Osservandoli possiamo imparare dalla loro resistenza e dalla loro capacità di orientarsi in spazi infiniti, collegando la loro storia naturale alle storie umane di esplorazione, perdita e ricerca del senso di appartenenza al mondo.
