Due case editrici cattoliche e due libri in dialogo per esplorare una delle domande più urgenti del nostro tempo: dove si fonda la speranza? E come si può viverla, concretamente, ogni giorno? In Cristo, speranza di ogni uomo (Edizioni Ares), il cardinale Angelo Bagnasco, in quest’anno giubilare che mette a tema la speranza, offre brevi meditazioni e consigli pratici in cui si propone nell’incontro con Gesù vivo la risposta, anche oggi, al desiderio di compimento e di bene di ogni uomo. Respirare il futuro (ITL Libri), di Giulia Ceccutti, racconta la storia del villaggio di Neve Shalom Wahat al-Salam, a metà strada tra Gerusalemme e Tel Aviv, dove ebrei e palestinesi scelgono liberamente di continuare a vivere insieme anche dopo il 7 ottobre 2023. A moderare l’incontro sarà il giornalista Francesco Ognibene, in un confronto che mette a tema la “speranza sperata” e la “speranza vissuta”: il bisogno interiore di credere nel bene e la scelta concreta di costruirlo.
