Considerato dalla critica internazionale uno dei più importanti autori di musica elettronica, Jaar dimostra con questa raccolta il suo talento nel mixare linguaggi e creare mondi. Attraverso storie immaginifiche, cariche di forza poetica, Jaar inventa frammenti di mitologie di popoli ignoti. I suoi racconti, apparentemente sospesi nel tempo impossibile delle fiabe, tessono in realtà un discorso radicalmente attuale: i popoli delle sue isole sono talvolta divisi da uno stretto braccio di mare, ma le loro contrapposte visioni del mondo ci parlano della nostra contemporaneità frammentata. A dialogare con lui sarà il giornalista Matteo De Giuli (Medusa).
