Miriam Wells is impact editor at The Examination, a global investigative public health newsroom. She leads a strategy to maximise the real world change sparked by the journalism by embedding impact thinking into every stage of the editorial process. Having seen first-hand the power of such an approach, she believes every newsroom which cares about impact should consider creating an impact editor role in their leadership team.
