In occasione del centocinquantenario della nascita di Guglielmo Marconi, uno spettacolo di musica, immagini e letture che presentano in prima persona i ricordi di Annie Jameson, la madre di Guglielmo. Di origini irlandesi, giunta in Italia per imparare il bel canto, Annie Jameson fu – assieme al marito – la prima a credere nella genialità del figlio e a cercare in Inghilterra i primi estimatori della rivoluzione del “telegrafo senza fili”. Tratto da documenti originali, lo spettacolo riporta in primo piano una figura rimasta sempre dietro le quinte nella vita del grande inventore italiano, Premio Nobel per la Fisica nel 1909. Ed è attraverso le sue parole che il pubblico ripercorrerà le tappe più significative di una straordinaria vicenda umana nel contesto di una società che, da subito, riconosce la potenza rivoluzionaria del nuovo mezzo di comunicazione.
