La macchina da scrivere del tempo
Il passato è una calamita a cui è difficile resistere. Ci attira e conquista con storie emozionanti, fantastiche, terribili, portatrici di messaggi senza tempo. Come quella che viaggia su un treno della speranza che nel 1946 attraversa l'Italia da Sud a Nord (Il treno dei bambini, bestseller internazionale di Viola Ardone), si estende su una mappa ferroviaria e immaginaria che nella provincia piemontese della Seconda Guerra Mondiale alimenta uno dei fenomeni editoriali della passata stagione (Ferrovie del Messico di Gian Marco Griffi) o riemerge da un crimine avvenuto negli anni 90 sui crinali dell'Abruzzo appenninico, nell'ultimo L’età fragile di Donatella Di Pietrantonio. Un incontro sulle diramazioni della Storia e su quella straordinaria macchina del tempo - la scrittura - che ci permette spesso di recuperarle.
