L’arte di fronte alla guerra
Due esperienze a confronto. Da un lato l’architetto e urbanista Piero Bottoni, tra le figure più complesse e affascinanti del Novecento, ideatore di vere e proprie “architetture della memoria”, cariche di impegno, a partire dal celebre monumento ai partigiani di Bologna e dal milanese quartiere QT8: spazi che sono strumenti di ricostruzione identitaria, luoghi in cui lo spazio si fa custode del tempo, del trauma e della speranza. Dall’altro il pittore Ugo Celada che, dopo il bombardamento milanese che gli distrusse lo studio, sarà sfollato a Castiglione delle Stiviere: qui vivrà il tempo sospeso dell’occupazione nazifascista, sublimando la tragedia della guerra nella dimensione della pittura.
