Attivo fra Vienna, Lubiana e Gorizia, Max Fabiani è stato uno dei principali esponenti dell’Art Nouveau e del Secessionismo. Il documentario ne ripercorre l’attività e ne illustra l’apertura visionaria e la vocazione culturale mitteleuropea.
Il documentario è realizzato dall’Associazione culturale èStoria, regia di Alessio Bozzer e riprese di Videoest srl, nell’ambito del progetto èStoria Film & Food.
Un immenso Rod Steiger veste i panni di Edoardo Nottola, cinico costruttore edilizio degli anni Sessanta, che vuole a tutti i costi divenire assessore all’edilizia della città di Napoli. Questa pellicola, tra più note di Rosi, assume su di sé il duplice compito di rappresentare una chiara realtà cittadina e, parimenti, di denunciarla fermamente. Un capolavoro imperdibile.
