L’incontro in queste pagine è con una specie speciale di burattini, ombre e marionette, figure che hanno pari dignità degli attori. A muoverli sono persone che resistono alla burocrazia, ai tagli sulla cultura, alla mancanza di poesia, coltivando l’arte dello stupore per trasmetterla a intere generazioni. Al Teatro Verde sono passati molti cicli dell’infanzia romana, piccoli che sono diventati attori, figli che oggi sono genitori. Si ritroveranno in un libro che è per tutti: bambini, grandi, grandi che vogliono tornare bambini entrando lì dove tutto è finto ma per davvero, e si procede per filo e per sogno.
