L’obiettivo della presentazione del libro, scritto da due autori emergenti di La Spezia, è quello di porre l’attenzione nei confronti dell’eroica vicenda italiana del viaggio al Polo Nord con il dirigibile “Italia”, al comando del generale Umberto Nobile, passata alla storia come l’avventura della “Tenda Rossa”, attraverso la prospettiva di un cimelio conservato presso il Museo tecnico Navale di la Spezia, la “Ondina 33”, soprannominata, in onore del radiotelegrafista Giuseppe Biagi, Capo della Regia Marina Militare italiana e membro dell’equipaggio, la “radio Biagina”. L’obiettivo, alla base della stesura del volume, è stato quello di porre al centro il ruolo ricoperto dalla città e dal Regio Arsenale della Marina Militare di La Spezia, in questa eroica impresa italiana.
