Il Cantico delle Braci è una favola nera, un racconto corale che mette alcuni personaggi della Calcata del ‘600 al centro di un evento terribile: un padre assiste impotente al rogo di sua figlia e decide di sfidare Dio, cambiando il destino di tutte le figure coinvolte e quello del mondo intero. Un fumetto dalla lavorazione atipica: un’unica storia coesa, otto stili diversi dei membri del collettivo Ragdoll, e ben altri 23 stili di autori e autrici "ospiti" che hanno partecipato con veri e propri contributi a fumetti al volume, da Davide Toffolo ad Alberto Pagliaro, da Isabella Mazzanti ad Annalisa Leoni.
