L’evento è rivolto agli studenti e a tutti gli appassionati di lingue, letterature e culture slave. Attraverso la lettura di alcuni testi che compongono l’antologia andremo a scoprire le molteplici forme della poesia bielorussa contemporanea che vediamo rinascere in un contesto storico molto difficile. La ricerca e la lotta per la propria identità e i propri diritti, la guerra nel paese vicino, l’emigrazione forzata ma anche l’amore per la propria terra e le proprie complesse radici sono i temi principali del volume presentato. Gli ospiti dell’incontro avranno occasione di conoscere alcuni dei protagonisti dell’antologia e dei fatti storici che hanno influenzato la stesura di questi testi poetici in più lingue (bielorusso, russo, ucraino, yiddish), di ascoltare e leggere testi scelti dal volume e di riflettere sul multiculturalismo di un paese rimasto troppo a lungo nell’oblio.
