Abitiamo un tempo di grandi trasformazioni sociali, politiche e culturali che ci chiede capacità di confronto e di collaborazione con tutti. Passiamo da una guerra all’altra con una spaventosa facilità ed indifferenza. Le lancette dei diritti umani sembrano girare al contrario, la disumanizzazione delle guerre sembra prevalere sul progresso della dignità della persona. Cosa vogliono dire oggi parole come etica, democrazia, solidarietà impegno, inclusione, accoglienza, bene comune? “Fino a quando?”. È il lamento dei tanti, dei troppi fratelli e sorelle ancora ostaggio delle guerre, delle disuguaglianze, dei diritti disattesi di una umanità ferita e offuscata.
