Annika Joeres is a senior reporter at the non-profit media CORRECTIV, she investigates especially about energy, climate and lobbyism. She has received several nominations and prizes, including the Franco-German journalist prize, for her research on climate-damaging money invested by the federal states and on rising sea levels worldwide. She used to be deputy head of the taz in North Rhine-Westphalia, later correspondent for the Frankfurter Rundschau and Berliner Zeitung in Düsseldorf. In addition to her work for CORRECTIV, she also writes as an author for the German publication Die Zeit.
