Mélina Huet
Bio
Mélina Huet is a French correspondent and filmmaker. Self-taught, Mélina began to film and direct her own projects. A former France 24 Madrid correspondent, she has been covering the conflict in Ukraine for France 24 and also the French network LCI since 2022. More recently, she has been reporting on the Israel-Hamas war along with the consequences for the West Bank. She has also reported for other French and Belgian networks including TF1, RTL-TVI and France Télévisions.
In 2020, her first documentary Protect the living, Honour the Dead about ending violence against women in France was first broadcast on France 24. It was selected by several international festivals, including FIGRA (France) and Toronto International Women Film Festival, and awarded multiple prizes, including Best documentary at the San Francisco Arthouse Short Festival.
Mélina is a graduate of Sciences Po Aix and the Centre de formation des journalistes.
