Paul Kolsby
Bio
Paul Kolsby is a writer, producer and director. He’s written the films City Unplugged and Spread, has developed numerous pilots for American television, has written for Masters of Sex, Law and Order: SVU and, most recently, he wrote and produced all four seasons of Netflix’s Ozark — for which he’s earned Emmy, Golden Globe, Writers Guild and Producers Guild Award nominations. His musical and non-musical plays have been performed around the U.S. and in Europe; he’s published long-form fiction and non-fiction and has contributed criticism and essays to national magazines and to The Los Angeles Times. He’s served on the faculties at U.C.L.A., New York University and The American Film Institute, and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and NYU’s Tisch School. He lives in Paris.
